Team Philosophy
We
think the best way to build a team is by example. The soccer community is very
small, and parents and coaches talk to each other. There are three elements to
setting a good example:
- Boys: The Boys need to have fun
on the field, playing an organized brand of soccer that is physical but clean.
- Coaching staff: A high quality
coaching staff that emphasizes teaching over winning. The coaches must present a professional demeanor on the sideline
and set an example of good sportsmanship for the players to follow.

- Parents: Like the coaches, the
parents also represent the team. We are fortunate to have a very
supportive group of parents who have an appropriate perspective on youth
soccer.
We have an excellent
nucleus already, as evidenced by the success of the team. Going forward, we
think if the boys are learning, improving and having fun from week to week,
additional players will seek us out and ask to play for our team.
